Playing WIRES

The different objects are controlled either with the directional buttons (plus sometimes SPACE) or with W, A, D for player 2's rocket and Z, X, S for player 2's rocket car. Press F4 to restart the level and ESC to quit and go back to the previous menu.

Changing Behavior

Normally, a rocket goes forward by pressing the directional UP button or W but if the rocket is partly destroyed, you may have to control it in another way. Some of the other rocket engines may serve as a forward thruster. Walls can also be used to bounce the rocket in the forward direction.

Modifying Stuff

It is possible to modify the game files that specify the dynamical object and levels. No tutorial is yet written how to do this but it is possible to look at the existing level and object files to figure it out. I am currently working on a level editor that can be used to generate the XML files and create new levels and objects.
